In a Child's Words

Everything happens for a reason, I truly believe that with all my heart. Last night while I was putting my little princess to bed she said, "Mommy, I love you the most. I really miss you because of the cancer.". As you can imagine, my heart melted and tears welled up in my eyes. So innocent, so precious children are. I now know for certain that by deciding to get my life back as soon as possible without a nanny to help with the transition was the best decision I've made throughout this journey. With a little help, and a few playdates for appointments, we'll all do just fine. She just simply wants to be with her mommy, as I want to be with her and Kyan. Nothing else matters, or is more important to me right now than loving my children and being there for them.

Just when I thought I was teaching her about life, she turned the table and reminded me what life is really about. Thank you my dear sweet Kendra. I love you.
